To Noel, thank you for holding space for my studio anxieties and thought processes. I am grateful to have gotten to work with you and will miss our weekly kōrero, and I have really valued your insights, enthusiasm, and encouragement along the way.
To Glen, thank you for your patience, compassion and guidance with all things both theoretical and practical, for making the assignment process seem not so daunting, and for making me sound smarter on paper than I think I am. To Yolunda, thank you for being so down-to-earth, for reminding me to look at the bigger picture instead of overthinking too much, and for giving book recommendations and figurative kicks into action as needed.
To Oleg, thank you for all your help and perseverance in figuring out how to build, install and generally make my work work outside my head and off the page. To Matt E, thank you for playing devil's advocate when necessary during critiques and for encouraging me to consider things from outside my usual viewpoint.
To Yoon, thank you for guiding me through all my AV and photo printing queries and for sharing your knowledge of photo-media and tech when I got lost.
To Emine and Justine, thank you for all your recommendations and shared knowledge, and for fielding my random book requests.
To Elvis, thank you for being both such a lovely studio partner and wonderful partner in crime, for the graveyard walks, and for reminding me to be kind to myself when I'm not.
To my studio friends and classmates, thanks for making the year so brilliant. I will miss your daily energies, conversations, studio hangouts and getting to work alongside you in our shared space.
To Manuka, thank you for keeping me grounded outside my degree and studio thought bubble, and for being my personal environmentalist, technician and biology teacher.
And to everyone else who has been a part of this year, thank you greatly for being a part of this experience ✨
See you again,
